Abstract

This study outlines a collaboration between the Teaching and Learning Center for Education and Inclusive Technologies (University of Salerno) and Convai Technologies Inc. The project develops AI-driven non-player characters (NPCs) in 3D environments to foster educational engagement and accessibility. These NPCs, trained with curated pedagogical content, act as interactive guides offering personalized learning experiences and inclusive support, while prompting reflection on human–machine interaction and knowledge transformation.
