Abstract

This paper explores the integration of picturebooks and Service Learning as an innovative approach to promoting Inclusive Education. Building on the articulation of the relationship between inclusion and Service Learning, it examines the value of the picturebook as a multimodal device capable of generating meaning, imagination, and agency. The triangulation of picturebooks, Service Learning, and Inclusive Education converges in the development of a civic education intervention in an upper secondary school.
