Abstract

Bibliotherapy is the creative and reasoned use of literary texts for personal growth and well-being. In the school context, it is a non-invasive tool suitable for children and young people. It aims at the development of emotional, personal and social competences through the guided reading of carefully chosen materials and the application of particular techniques by facilitators with appropriate training and expertise.
