This paper analyses the graphic novel Non mi dimenticare by Alix Garin (2024) through the lens of the Pedagogy of aging to show how the work constructs an effective and sensitive representation of old age and illness. Through the journey of a grandmother suffering from Alzheimer’s and her granddaughter, the graphic novel recounts the formation, confrontation, and construction of an emotional and caring bond between the two characters through the transmission of family memory.
